Dr. Walter E. Barker
Dr. Barker became a Certified Instructor with the Center for Aggression Management in 2000. He became a Senior Trainer for Aon's Center for Aggression Management in 2003. For the past 25 years he has seen and sought to repair the destructive effects of aggression on individuals and families through his counseling work. "When it comes to aggression, the name of the game is prevention; the need to get well upstream before the raging river of aggression cuts deep. That is exactly what The Center for Aggression Management has done through developing a comprehensive approach to identifying, measuring, and defusing aggression in it's earliest and progressing stages."
Dr. Barker founded PATHFINDERS COUNSELING & CONSULTATION in Orlando, Florida in 1984. He is a Florida Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and does Individual, Marital, Family, and Group Psychotherapy. He is also a consultant and trainer for businesses, schools, government agencies, hospitals, and church organizations. Some of his clients have included Burger King, Orange County Florida Public Schools, Florida Department of Health and Human Resources, Laurel Oaks Psychiatric Hospital for Youth and Adolescence, and Florida Conference United Church of Christ. Pathfinders Counseling won the "Outstanding Partner in Education" award for small businesses 92'-93' from the Orange County Florida Public Schools. He is a Clinical Member of The American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy, and an Ordained minister in the United Church of Christ.
He received his Doctor of Ministry degree from Boston University, Master of Divinity degree from Boston University, Bachelor of Arts Degree from Maryville College Tennessee.
